THE FIRST CLASS
Why Python — and what your teen builds.
Python is the language behind Instagram, Netflix, Google, and NASA. It's taught in universities and required for many tech careers. Your teen starts from zero and writes real code in 90 minutes — no prior experience needed.
A visual start that lays strong fundamentals for in-depth Python. They learn how Python actually works and write organised code like the pros — not just follow tutorials. They leave with working Python code they wrote themselves.
The same building blocks professional developers use. Beginners start from basics; experienced students get assessment questions so we place them at the right level.
SINCE 2012
Why parents trust us with their teen's first real code.
LCCL was founded by Juliana, an NUS Computer Science graduate, and our curriculum is advised by Professor Leong Hon Wai of NUS. We've taught coding to over 3,000 students since 2012.
We teach real Python, in depth. Students as young as 12 place top in Python competitions, and our graduates go on to self-learn other languages and intern at tech, education, and medical companies. In 2025, they became IDE2025 Overall Champions.

WHAT YOUR TEEN GAINS
Real code. Real projects. A real head start.
Real programming skills
Actual Python that runs on any computer — the same language used in AI, data science, and web development. Portfolio-worthy from day one.
A university application edge
Python experience stands out on applications. Many of our teens use projects from class in their portfolios.
A career foundation
Whether they become engineers, doctors, or founders, Python is valuable. It's the language of data and automation — a future-proof skill.
WHAT PARENTS & TEENS SAY
"I am really enjoying and learning a lot from the way the lessons currently are. I especially like having a little task to complete as homework after each lesson, as it helps reinforce what I have learnt that day."
"Justine is enjoying the classes very much and tells me she's learning new things each day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with Justine. Much appreciated."
"Juliana is very dedicated in coaching my son, who has learning challenges, to code. She develops logical thinking in a fun and interactive way, providing structure in the lesson while fostering creativity."
PARENTS ASK
"Does my teen need prior experience?"
Not at all. Beginners start from basics with visual projects. If they've coded before, especially at LCCL, they'll progress faster — experienced students get assessment questions for proper placement.
"What equipment is needed?"
Any laptop or desktop with internet. We'll email simple setup instructions (installing Python takes about 5 minutes). Tablets won't work for Python.
"Why online instead of in-person?"
Teens learn well in their own environment and can keep coding right after class with no commute. Screen sharing over Zoom makes following the code even clearer.
"Is Python really useful for teens?"
Yes. Python is used in AI, data science, web development, and automation. It's required knowledge for many university programmes and tech careers.
"Is the $15 trial fee refundable?"
The $15 trial fee is non-refundable, but it's credited in full to your first month's fees if you enrol within 30 days of your trial. You can reschedule with 24 hours' notice.
"Is this suitable for kids or only older teens?"
Our Python classes are for kids and teens aged 12–18, matched to the right level: ages 12–13 start with visual Python and foundations; 14–16 build real applications and prepare for competitions; 17–18 work on portfolio projects. Younger kids should look at Coding Fundamentals or Early Creators.
